This course explores the science surrounding the reef but also asks questions about the ways of science in the world today.
Course Summary
The course is taught by Professor Peter Ridd, an expert in this area, eminently qualified to talk on the reef having studied the reef since 1984. A physicist, an author, a professor, a marine science specialist, he is a national treasure for daring to question his colleagues all the way to the High Court of Australia and his comments regarding institutional trustworthiness have recently been proven correct by the latest data from the Australian Institute of Marine Science. The Professor tells the story of the reef and how nature is in constant flux on the reef, a dynamic and perfect ecosystem.
